NoSolo helps event organizers improve the social experience of their attendees with pre-conference shared dinners at local restaurants for 6-8 people. Dinners can be curated groups and meals or random assignments with open conversation. We have offered this value add service in Boston, Atlanta, Valencia (Spain), and Buenos Aires. Each event uses different sign ups, marketing channels, pricing models, and local partnerships.

Hello, fellow founders-
I'm Christine, the CEO & Founder of NoSolo (nosolo.co), a company based in the Boston area, USA. With many years of professional and personal experience in solo travel, I understand the ups and downs.
There are moments during solo travel, especially at dinnertime, when experiences can feel lonely and awkward. To serve this need, I created NoSolo—a service that helps connect solo travelers through 6-8 person dinners at local restaurants.
We have tested our service on leisure travelers in Boston, Atlanta, Valencia (Spain), Lisbon, and Buenos Aires, and are now pivoting to serving business travelers. We understand how the convention center atmosphere can make business travel feel generic and formal. In addition, networking events can be hard to navigate, especially for introverts.
Imagine a service that arranges pre-conference dinners at a multi-day event. These dinners can encourage meaningful conversations that will lead to a community for the rest of the event.
Our target audience is event organizers. Marketing was our biggest challenge when we focused on leisure travelers both in terms of cost and demand. Business travelers attending large events will be easier to reach, and they have stipends that make going to these dinners an easy decision.

Example Use Case:
-A business traveler from Chicago is going to Miami for a 3-day conference. They don’t know anyone and want to network with others even though they dread the typical meet and mingle events.
-At online registration the organizers are inviting registrants to pre-conference dinners of 6-8 people per table at local restaurants. Sounds great, but they don’t know their arrival date yet and can’t commit.
-When they arrive, they see the dinner signup on the schedule for that night. Participating restaurants are listed with seating availability. With nothing else to do and a chance to meet others while trying local food, they pay for a seat at a Mexican restaurant. The fee is ~$50 for food, drinks, and company.
We welcome suggestions and feedback!
