My greatest passions in life are travel and photography. I truly believe that travel has the power to educate and eradicate ignorance; experiencing other cultures, meeting different people, seeing what is someone else's reality, can profoundly change our world for the better.

Growing up (and to this day) poring over the images in travel magazines, guide books and websites has inspired me to explore as much of this planet as I can, and I hope to inspire others to do the same with the photos I bring back. I much prefer colder destinations to hot ones -- my heart compass points north -- and my dream would be to go as far north as possible!
