I'm Julia Browne and I specialize in Black heritage travel and education experiences.
I'm a wanderer by nature, curious about people's lives wherever they may live. Although born in the UK and brought up in English Canada, for three-quarters of my life I've lived in Francophone countries or environments. It was while living in Paris that I learned about the deep African American connection there. Outside of my day job in film production and TOESL, I started researching the Black and French cultural connection and in 1994 created my first walking tours. And voila, my mission to share each fascinating detail and story with others was born.
Along with travel, writing and researching are my shine points.
Because the community is doing awesome work and I'd like to be part of the dynamic of evolving the travel world
