For more than two decades, Nicole has been an advocate for environmental and human health – and her mission is to guide the next generation into meaningful action. A marketing and eco maverick in sustainability, Nicole has more than 15 years of experience working with consumer brands, hospitality, green building, clean tech and non-profits in the LOHAS marketplace. Lessening your company’s carbon footprint, giving back while making a profit is possible and in today’s climate should be the norm. This is the base where Nicole guides her clients today.
Always ahead of the curve, Nicole launched Landers PR in end of 2002, and her clients included GenArt fashion winners, beverage brands and eco companies, including: Ashley Paige, Vitaminwater, Rock & Republic, Nagual, the organic beverage Steaz, eco couture designer Linda Loudermilk, to name a few. Landers PR also was the first to create an eco lifestyle and beauty lounge at Sundance Film Festival and in Los Angeles during award season during the Emmys to the Oscars. The impact by Nicole with key celebrities, influencers and brands helped to create a media buzz to understand more clearly a green lifestyle into the mainstream market place. Her work won her recognition in such media as ABC News, E!, Access Hollywood, E! Online, Ellen, US Weekly, The Insider, Organic Authority, Treehugger, Huffington Post, ecorazzi, Reuters, amongst many others outlets.
After five years Nicole decided to close her PR shingle to move on to other green pastures. Since 2009, she has been providing one-on-one eco consulting services to sustainable consumer brands, hospitality brands, clean technology and innovation companies, real estate developers and non-profit enterprises. Her past and current clients include; Discovery Network, Lisa Ling & Paul Song’s LEED Platinum Residence, WIRED Living Home Project for WIRED Magazine & LivingHomes, W Hollywood, Permacity, SHFT.com, Healthy Child Health World, Coco Eco Magazine, Opportunity Green (OG) a Sustainable Business Conference, SeekRetreat.com, Marquis Organic Energy, Leaf & Love Lemonade, Emmy’s Organics, Environmental Media Association, Global Green USA, Alila Hotels and Resorts, amongst others.
Currently Nicole co-founded & launched a non profit in Venice, CommunityHealingGardens.org promoting growing healthy food in underserved communities and schools for the next generation in Los Angeles and beyond. Also enrolled at UCLA in the Global Sustainability Certificate Program expected to graduate end of 2016 and is an active member of former Vice President Al Gore’s Climate Reality Leadership Corp as a Climate Reality Leader. A lover of the outdoors, traveling, cooking, gardening, farmer’s markets, yoga and all forms of media, Nicole resides at the beach with her fiancé and their two pets.
Nicole’s bottom line? “It’s all about taking care of each other, caring for the planet and making a profit while doing so – no one can survive without the other. If you don’t think so, just look around and tell me what you see.”
