In 2018 I joined The Capital Hotel Group where I am currently the General Manager of the 5 star, The Capital Mirage Hotel, Cape Town. I am privileged to lead and develop a great Team and are able to live out my entrepreneurial side daily.
My introduction to the Hospitality Industry started abroad in 2002, at the Bull Hotel just outside London, in their Food & Beverage department. After returning from the UK, I enrolled at the University of Stellenbosch.
My first position in a Hotel in South Africa was in 2006 as Front of House Manager on a Golf Estate in Stellenbosch, also assisting with conferences, banqueting and weddings.
In 2007 I joined the Protea Hotels team as Marketing Plan Coordinator at the Protea Hotel Franschhoek and soon moved on to Marketing Plan Executive at the Protea Hotel Stellenbosch, overseeing the Winelands properties.
In 2010 I took a Regional Account Manager position at Booking.com, a leading Online Hotel Reservations website based in the Netherlands. Most of my focus was spent on new business development and growing online bookings/revenue.
Between 2012 and 2018, I was the Revenue, Sales and Marketing Manager at the Cape Royale Luxury Hotel & Spa.
