I've been in the travel industry since 1996, starting out as a tour guide while taking a break from my career as a dental technician. Soon after that, I joined the marketing team of the company I was with, and worked closely with local and international tourism businesses.

When the world of the internet started changing the travel landscape, I started my first business in 2002, focussing on marketing African tourism products online and source clients from across the globe, then connecting them with tourism businesses in Southern and East Africa.

I am intrigued by the impact of all things digital on the tourism industry. In 2016 Safari Tribe was born - a community of like-minded African tourism industry professionals with the desire to see the continent flourish.
