Travel Massive Mumbai is back with another exciting meet up. This one is all about creating video content when you're travelling. We'll talk about how to make your own travel videos for youtube, facebook or any other medium.
In an age where a gradual transition to video content is taking place across platforms, how to produce videos to highlight travel and hospitality brands? How to create videos without a big budget, a bigger team and equipment to promote destinations?
From converting ideas to promotional video materials, pitching for funds and partnerships and going through the process of shooting in all odds on the go to create videos that cater to a larger audience, video production is no ordinary task.
But it is a task that can be mastered through experience and exposure.
In a talk that will cover the key pillars of video production on the go, be prepared to find out all about the process, stages, hurdles, opportunities and techniques of producing travel videos and most importantly travelling for travel videos. The ground reality of what it takes to make a travel video All these questions and many more shall be answered by the duo behind World Culture Network - Parampara Patil Hash and Parichay Mehta who have been filming their travel series religiously across Europe and have mastered the art of making travel based videos.
World Culture Network is Indiaโs first travel and culture based web channel, that produces videos to promote tourism, self travel and responsible travel and the cultural aspects of travel.
Starting 2016, Parampara Patil Hashmi and Parichay Mehta founded World Culture Network touring alive the travel stories, experiences & destinations through videos in addition to their travel blog Aware Diaries.
In the last 2 years, the company has produced 8 web series, shot across 20 European countries. WCN has worked with over 15 tourism boards and over 40 hospitality and tourism brands to create these series across Europe. Some key names being Rail Europe, Woodland, Spain Tourism, Visit Czech Republic, Secret Food Tours, etc.
With 3 more shows in the pipe line, WCN is now looking at producing shows across Asia, Middle East and Africa.
Parampara Patil Hashmi
Parampara Patil Hashmi is a 24 years old digital entrepreneur- travel & entertainment writer, content strategist for brands and a digital consultant for marketing Indian movies. While juggling the many roles, Parampara plays a key role in conceptualising, scripting, hosting and marketing the shows at World Culture Network.
Parichay Mehta
Parichay Mehta is a travel consultant and blogger. He plans trips for independent travellers under his company name- Trawhale. Parichay is also the co-founder of World Culture Network and looks after the logistics, scheduling, editing and even filming of the videos.
Parampara and Parichay identified the scope of video content in the travel sector and founded World Culture Network as an extension to their blog Awara Diaries. Unlike most bloggers who were blogging their experiences, the idea of WCN has been to create well researched, produced and presented shows to encourage more and more people to travel. This was achieved by taking long trips across multiple cities and countries in the Schengen states, collaborating with local tourism boards and brands to create a product that did justice to the key purpose of travel and hospitality.
The event is on Monday 11th June at the Independence Brewing Company in Andheri from 7 - 10 pm. Our good friends at IBC are graciously hosting us at their venue this time around and is the perfect place for drinks and nibbles while we all network and mingle post the session. We will start immediately so please try and get there on time. Post the session there is plenty of time to grab a beer and network with the community.
