About this event

As millions of people across our country and all over the world come together to celebrate the life and work of Scotland’s most famous poet Robert Burns later this month, we are delighted to invite you to be part of a very special Travel Massive Edinburgh gathering on Tuesday January 24th 2017 at Red, Red Rose Street, a new Edinburgh festival of Burns’ music and words.

Please join us at Element Bar, 110-114 Rose Street, at 6pm for drinks and special Burns-themed canapés. A special opportunity follows to enjoy Blethering Burns (spoken word performances curated by Flint & Pitch) which will take place in Element at 7pm though you are also welcome to take to Rose Street at 6.45pm to follow the trail and soak up the atmosphere! RSVP required via our event page.

Part of the Scottish Government’s Scotland’s Winter Festivals programme and organised by Unique Events working with Essential Edinburgh and local businesses, the inaugural Red, Red Rose Street festival will animate Rose Street in the heart of Edinburgh’s New Town from Saturday 21 to Friday 27 January 2017, expanding the traditional Burns Night into a week-long city-centre celebration of the work of the world-renowned Scottish bard.

This promises to be a memorable night and a fitting celebration, which should create spectacular visual content.Travel Massive Edinburgh is delighted to be able to celebrate this with our community. Sign up now!
