About this event

The Travel Massive Edinburgh team is delighted to be collaborating with brand new Edinburgh Music Tours, brought to you by the team behind the highly successful Glasgow Music City Tours.

These new entertaining and informative guided walking tours of Edinburgh tell the story of the musicians who have stayed, played and made music in Scotland’s capital city.

Join Travel Massive Edinburgh for a private walking tour with Edinburgh Music Tours, as they tell all the tall tales from the People’s Festival Ceilidh to Rollermania and beyond. Covering folk to funk, pop to punk and past to present, this 90 minute guided walk trace the people, venues and gigs that made Edinburgh’s music. The tour includes a £5 discount voucher for Rip It Up – The Story of Scottish Pop at the National Museum of Scotland. Please note the tour will run from 3pm - 4.30pm approx.

After the tour, we'll head to Jake’s Place, St. Christopher’s Inn, Market Street, where we'll have exclusive use of their bar area, free light bites and some great drinks promos. For those looking to make a night of it, Rory Fairweather will be playing an acoustic set in the bar next door from 9.30pm.

Please make sure you wear sensible clothing and footwear as we will be outside for the duration of the tour.

Spaces are limited so an RSVP on Travel Massive event page is essential to secure your spot. Sign up Now!

We look forward to seeing you soon.
