Travel is all about community, but working for yourself can be isolating. I joined the community to meet other people in the travel industry, make connections, and find opportunities.
My favourite places I've been are Lapland and Brazil, for very different reasons. Brazil was the first place I'd visited in Latin America solo and it really gave me my travel wings. The culture, food, and people made it a trip I'll never forget. And Lapland at Christmas is probably the most beautiful place I've ever been in my life.
Japan is really high on my list for travel destinations. There's something super unique about the culture that I can't wait to explore.
I was a wide-eyed 23 year old trying to make it in London when I fell into a job as a travel agent, and the rest was history!
Everything! Whether it's travel, documentaries, magazines, memoirs, interesting people, I'm eternally inquisitive and can never learn enough.
