I have consulted for the United Nations World Tourism Organization (UNWTO), and co-wrote the UNWTO/UN Women Global Report on Women in Tourism. I was the sole Consultant for the UNWTO Regional Report on Women in Tourism; and co-designed the UNWTO's online course on Gender Equality in Tourism. I was also a trainer for the UNWTO Academy and trains tourism and hospitality leaders in hospitality and tourism departments and universities worldwide.

I have experience consulting for hospitality and tourism businesses internationally and regional councils in Australia and New Zealand. I have delivered projects for national and state tourism organizations, hospitality councils, hotels, private corporations and NGOs in Asia and the Pacific. I co-wrote the Australia's Queensland Digital Workforce Plan. I am the Special Advisor to World Women Tourism, serves on the Advisory Board of the International Tourism and Investment Conference and judges the annual Australia's Queensland Tourism Awards.

I have published several books and over 100 research articles on hospitality and tourism management; and travel internationally to deliver keynote presentations and guest lectures. I have appeared in, and been cited by, multiple international media including radio, newspapers and online media.
