Born in the coastal city of Port Elizabeth in the Eastern Cape, Craig was raised on a small holding (small farm) on the outskirts of town. Here he developed an absolute love for the outdoors and all forms of animals - domestic and wild. It was in these formative years that his intrigue and knowledge of South African flora and fauna grew.
Craig spent more of his time as a child outdoors on adventures collecting and catching snakes, rodents and creepy crawlies than he ever did locked indoors. A love for the South African outdoors (or the "bush" as we call it) is a love that he has fast transferred to his two young children.
His passion for people is contagious and he instantly makes you feel at home and relaxed. His heart's desire is to create experiences and live life to its fullest measure, to allow others to experience the beauty of God’s creation and the impressions it can leave on your heart and life.
With a heartbeat for Africa, not just South Africa, Craig has travelled to countries like Namibia, Mozambique, Botswana, Lesotho, Swaziland, Kenya, Zimbabwe and Malawi. He loves and embraces the diversity of African culture and the depth of experience it can offer.
Craig’s desire to impact lives and showcase the beauty of South Africa is what led him to embark on a new journey. He has launched both a non-profit organisation, Mosaic Life that addresses humanitarian needs of the homeless and destitute within Port Elizabeth as well as Mosaic Tourism, where as a registered tour guide he can offer tourists the opportunity to not just travel through but experience the life changing magnificence of our country.
