About me

Crawford Marketing Communications delivers powerful, results-oriented copy for a variety of travel and consumer clients – without the extra costs and lag-time of agency middlemen.

Work directly with Principal Lorraine June Crawford, and you’ll be tapping into nearly 30 years of award-winning travel and consumer marketing communications experience with a variety of clients and employers. Crawford has also spent several years as a news reporter, six years teaching English and World History, and is the author of, The Snow Flower, an adventure novel for middle graders. When you hire her to be your copywriter, you’ll be treated to the talents and professionalism of a diverse writer who can provide you with a wide range of styles and voices for all your marketing communications projects.

While specializing in the travel business, Crawford’s past clients includes restaurants, museums, ski resorts, toys, education, environmental organizations, public relations agencies, consumer services and non-profit organizations.

The lifelong California resident has a B.A. in journalism from San Diego State University, a teaching credential from Cal State East Bay and a marketing certificate from UC Berkeley. A docent at the Bowers Museum, Santa Ana, her passions are world travel (just returned from hiking the Swiss Alps), history and culture; there's also time for skiing, volleyball, photography, and everything to do at the beach. Her motto? “Learn and share something new every day.”
