I have been actively involved in tourism for the last 20 years, including growing an inbound tour operator before selling it to an NZX listed company. I am currently the CEO of Tourwriter; a tour operator software development and marketing company based in Wellington, New Zealand.

With a Bachelor of Commerce specialising in Management and Finance, I was the founder and Managing Director of Experience New Zealand Travel, one of the first inbound tour operators in the world to utilise the internet to market New Zealand directly to the independent traveller.

In 2004, I became involved in software development as a Director at Availability's ResBook, which has become one of New Zealand's largest providers of real-time, online reservation systems.

In 2005, I co-founded Tourwriter; a complete software application designed to manage the needs of tour operators, travel agents and DMC's; from itinerary creation and customer relationship management right through to their back-office processes.

In 2010, I founded ITO Accounting as a separate company, to specialise in providing accounting advice and services to the Tourism sector, particularly inbound tour operators.

In 2017 I became Director of the global leader in dynamic price optimisation for Rental Car operators: Margin Fuel.
