Before we became parents, my husband and I loved to travel, but feared having kids would mean sacrificing it. Instead we soon realized we could enjoy traveling just as much with our two boys in tow. Relaxing? Not really. But I wouldn't want it any other way.
I am a native of Colorado and love living in the same city where I grew up, Longmont. After completing my master's of journalism at CU Boulder in 2002, I wrote primarily freelance magazine articles until becoming a mom in 2006, when I began honing my editing skills. I enjoy the flexibility of freelance work because it affords me time to use my writer's brain and take care of my two boys.
