In the fall of 2020, I was intending to travel to Turkey by myself. Less than 10 days prior to departure, I met Therese in a Facebook group for other travel enthusiasts. After a few hours of conversing, I invited her on the trip, she accepted and one week later, we traveled as complete strangers together halfway across the world. While on the trip, we were approached by a journalist with CNN and decided right then to start our company, Vacation Pursuit.
