I am a graduate of UCLA and Le Cordon Bleu School of Culinary Arts with 15+ years of professional event production and planning experience. My attention to detail and organization skills, along with my appreciation for photography and an artist sensibility, are a perfect blend for editorial, print, digital media and television work. I'm an on-camera culinary expert for About.com and have appeared on Halogen Network, Food Network's Cupcake Wars (season 1 & 2), the pilot of Halloween Wars and the OWN show. My experience in front of the camera and behind the scenes gives me a unique perspective.

As part of my culinary education, I trained in Spain, on the island of Mallorca, and in Napa, at the famed French Laundry. I have assisted with top stylists on food prep and styling for commercials of major brands such as Target, Kellogg's, TGI Friday's and for several celebrity chefs on the talk show circuit (Paula Dean, Bobby Flay, Eric Rupert, & Tyler Florence) before going on my own. As well, I have worked with Food Network celebrity chefs, Giada De Laurentiis, on the Giada at Home show, and Bob Blumer on his cookbook Glutton for Pleasure.

I am a freelance contributing stylist, culinary producer and writer with Moontide Media with credits in Southbay, Ventura Blvd and Southbay Health.

More than anything, I love to travel and have been to many exotic locations for work and pleasure. A few of my favorite destinations are Italy, Paris, Prague, Morocco, Bora Bora, Botswana, Bali and Brazil. I'm fine traveling alone or with friends as long as I have my camera and my iPod. This fascination with traveling and different cultures has inspired me to draw from cuisines around the globe and has influenced my cooking style and the way I view the world.
