In her free time, she can be found exploring mountains, backcountry skiing, running rivers, cycling, and adventuring in the Pacific Northwest with her husband Jake, her kiddos Piper and Booker, Cash-dog, and friends. By day, Kristin directs the Destination Development Team at Travel Oregon, which assists communities and businesses with developing robust and vital regional tourism economies. Originally from Juneau, Alaska, Kristin started her career in tourism as a glacier and whitewater guide and has led expeditions in North America, Central America, and Southeast Asia. She has strong team leadership and organizational skills, as well as a can-do attitude about making the world a better place.
