I caught my travel bug while at high school, when I travelled to Austria as part of a year long student exchange. On my return to New Zealand, I picked up my first hospitality job, as a waiter at a local wedding reception centre. I got my diploma at the Pacific International Hotel Management School in Taranaki (NZ) and moved to Melbourne on graduation. I soon moved into aviation which really enabled me to see the world. I am now studying for my MBA at the Australian Institute of Business and I hope to find a position where I can better practice my sustainable tourism philosophies.
