Marguerite Cleveland is a writer who specializes in travel and human interest stories. She considers moving across the country at age 9 in a Pontiac station wagon a formative experience that developed her lifelong love of travel. Her unique perspective on travel comes from moving to a new area and viewing it with the fresh eyes of a tourist while having the insider secrets of a local.
She served as an award winning Army photojournalist. Marguerite currently lives, travels and writes about the Pacific Northwest. Her articles have appeared in Northwest Travel, Washington 1889 and www.Sipnorthwest.com. She writes a weekly travel article for www.northwestmilitary.com and its associated publications, The Ranger and The Weekly Volcano. She is a monthly contributor to Gig Harbor Living Local, Tacoma Living Local, and Real Northwest Living magazines. Marguerite is also the coauthor of “The Tsar’s Masquerade”, a novel under the penname Raphael Mercikovsky available on Amazon.
I want to join because I write about travel and it has been my passion since I was a young child. Travel is life changing.
