I am a PhD candidate at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki but I hold an MSc in Agricultural Economics and a BSc with Honors in Agriculture from the same University. I used to work for the Development Agency of Thessaloniki S.A., as a member of the Local Action Group, within the framework of Community Initiative LEADER+ and Axis 4 “Implementation of LEADER Approach of Rural Development Programme of Greece 2007-2013” but now I am the leader of Travel and Tourism Management BTEC programme in Perrotis College and Agrotourism Pathway leader of International Business course. I am active as an instructor in adult education and vocational training. My research interests include agrotourism and alternative tourism management, social capital and stakeholders, development of the countryside, policy implications, entrepreneurship, and food and society.
