Terrance Zepke studied Journalism at the University of Tennessee and later received a Masters in Mass Communications from the University of South Carolina. She spends much of her time happily traveling around the world but always returns home to the Carolinas where she lives part-time in both states. She is an award-winning and best-selling author of thirty books, including Terrance Talks Travel: A Pocket Guide to South Africa, The Encyclopedia of Cheap Travel, and Coastal South Carolina: Welcome to the Lowcountry. She is the host of TERRANCE TALKS TRAVEL: Γber Adventures and writes the popular blog, Terrance Talks Travel.
Additionally, she is in demand as a speaker and has been featured in many publications and programs, such as NPR, CNN, The Washington Post, Associated Press, Travel with Rick Steves, Around the World, Publishers Weekly, World Travel & Dining with Pierre Wolfe, Good Morning Show, The Learning Channel, and The Travel Channel.
When she's not writing, she is most likely packing for her next adventure to some far flung place, such as Reykjavik or Kwazulu Natal. Some of her favorite adventures include piranha fishing on the Amazon, shark cage diving in South Africa, and dog sledding in the Arctic Circle.
I want to connect with other travel professionals and stay informed about travel trends, news, etc.
