Tonya Fitzpatrick was appointed a Delegate to the United Nations Commission on the Status of Women. She is currently being considered for a post on the United Nations Association National Council. A 3x TEDx presenter, Tonya loves talking about the transformative power of travel. Tonya is an international speaker and has presented at the Women’s Economic Forum (India & Portugal), the North American Travel Journalist Association (NATJA), and FestiGals conference in New Orleans. Tonya has also served as moderator for the Environmental Film Festival and a film presentation at the National Press Club. Tonya is a lawyer by training but an intrepid traveler and global citizen by heart and the latter inspired her to create World Footprints (WorldFootprints.com) where she producers and co-hosts the multi award-winning World Footprints podcast with her husband, Ian.
