I'm a retired expat from the US living in Nepal for over 8 years. I founded Kay Garnay for Nepal, NGO after the earthquakes and we've been instrumental in building earthquake shelters for over 50 families, started a rec. center in one of the poorest neighborhoods in Bhaktapur and two libraries.
We do projects to uplift the people and just started a knitting women's initiative making hats and glove sets. They are excellent 100%wool with microfiber lining in a variety of patterns and colors.
I've recently begun building our Youtube channel in order to help more travelers to Nepal to enjoy their stay here in this amazing country. Here's a recent video we did that illustrates the channel:
I love Nepal and living here. I love to help travelers to fall in love with it, too.
