Hi! I’m Zuleika - a twenty-something ex-model from London turned travel blogger in the Caribbean. My very first exposure to travel was going back and forth between Italy, Ireland and the UK to visit my very geographically-extended family, but my true passion for it came slightly later, when I backpacked from Scotland to the Ukraine, on dodgy airlines and Soviet-era trains with my best friend from University. Ever since then I’ve been hooked, travelling to over 35 countries in the next 10 years. But I wasn’t just interested in ticking countries off my list - I did everything I could to take my work to different corners of Europe - Athens, Paris and Milan - so that I could actually live and become part of the culture there, as an insider and not an onlooker. It was at that point that I realised that I would never be able to stay put - there was just too much to discover; different places, ideas, realities. Moving to the Caribbean marks an exciting new chapter and, as much I love and miss Europe, I now get to have travel stamps in my passport. Yay!
