Join the GALTA Board to contribute your skills and expertise

GALTA, Australia's LGBTQ+ Travel Association, has been the lead tourism organisation in the LGBTQ+ travel sector in Australia for over 30 years, connecting travellers with welcoming holiday experiences and contributing to inclusivity conversations.

As a national, not-for-profit membership association, GALTA is powered by a passionate team of voluntary Board Directors and Regional Representatives who bring a range of skills and decades of experience in the tourism and travel industries.

We currently have a number of Board vacancies that are up for election at our 2024 AGM being held in Sydney on Saturday 23 November.

The available Board Director roles are:

PR Lead - drive GALTA's media strategy to increase engagement and media coverage, elevating the organisation's profile and generating opportunities to raise awareness of LGBTQ+ travel trends

Grants - drive GALTA's project funding prospects by identifying suitable grants and leading the application submission process
