In quite a few of our meetups we have been asked questions like why to waste time with networking and how can membership in communities like Travel Massive help you improve your business, so we have decided to discuss this topic before the season of networking events and fairs.
Maja Čampelj will have a presentation on the topic including:
- what is and what is not business networking
- cultural differences to keep in mind when networking
- how networking can help you in business development
- where and how can you start
- dos and don'ts of networking
Aim of the presentation is:
- to show you that networking in present business enviroment is not an option but it is a must
- to make you feel more comfortable in your next networking event
- to list some of the options on local and global basis
After the presentation questions will be answered and after, we are going to have open brainstorming and discussion on how to use low season of the year for our business.
We will have the opportunity to practice our networking skills immediately after, as at 19.45 there will be short networking event of museum quarter.
Feel free to invite as many people as you want, but please make sure, that once you and your friends register for the event, you are going to attend it. Why is this so important? First, there are people taking their time and are willing to share their knowledge and experiences with you, who REGISTERED. Second, in some events, food and drinks are being prepared and offered to you who REGISTERED. So if you are not coming it is at least not polite and shows you are being ignorant to the organizers. And to sensitive observer shows much more...
So if you register for the event, we understand you are coming. And please don't register or unregister for the event 10 minutes before (or even after) the event. It is the same.
