Shanghai Travel Massive is excited to announce our official launch on Thursday, 14 May! Travel Massive’s newest chapter will host its’ first event on the Future of Chinese Outbound Tourism, at the URBN Beer GRDN.
The inaugural event will host two guest speakers with fingers firmly on the pulse of Chinese travel trends: Gary Bowerman (Author of The New Chinese Traveler: Business Opportunities from the Chinese Travel Revolution) and Ann Bierbower (China Skinny)
Gary Bowerman is the Founding Director of content and media services consultancy, ’Scribes of the Orient’. He will present his insights on “the 10 Things You Should Know About the Future of Chinese Tourism." Gary’s expertise stems from his in-depth research within the Chinese travel market since 2003. His work draws on numerous case studies to show the innovative responses tourism boards and governments have used to connect with Chinese travelers, as well as some of the known/unknown opportunities and challenges in the Chinese tourism.
Ann Bierbower is the Senior Marketing Manager at ‘China Skinny’, one of the best known and fastest growing marketing and research agencies in China. Her robust market research and analysis ranges from the changing tastes of Chinese consumers to emerging travel trends. Ann’s presentation will provide a deeper understanding of who is today’s (increasingly selective) Chinese traveler, their needs, and the keys to attracting them.
