Join us for our next Travel Massive Budapest meetup at Mazel Tov @mazel_tov_bp on Thursday, May 28th at 6pm. We'll start the evening with a short presentation by Jennifer Walker @JDWalkerWriter, who'll be talking about travel writing in general as well as about how to pitch and create our own personal brand so that publications come to us as their go-to person.
Jennifer is an ex-physcisist turned travel writer. After building up her career from scratch with a (relatively speaking) useless PhD in physics, she has since written for BBC Travel, The Guardian, CNN Travel, Slate, GOOD Magazine, TripAdvisor, among others. She's both British and Hungarian, but she has also lived in Germany, Spain and Georgia, as well as having worked a few months in India, too.
After the presentation, the rest of the event will be about networking. Please make sure that you RSVP for the event through the TM website as this time, there won't be any facebook event created for the meetup. Also, please spread the word about the event within your network!
