I am the founder of a business concept that focuses on sustainable tourism and social entrepreneurship with the use of mobile phone technology. My expertise is in the area of sustainable development and the use of technology in the developing branch of virtual tourism.

My business concept, called “WeView,” combines these two with offering financial incentives to promote real-time, personal guided tours through a mobile app interface.

Coming from Iran, I know first-hand the need for alternative solutions to traditional tourism, for being able to see the rest of the world. So I sought to validate my business idea by participating in the 2019 Youth Citizen Entrepreneurship Competition supported by UNESCO. I’m excited to share that WeView won the Grand Prize in Tourism Category, by both popular vote and judges’ selection.
