When you think about Japan, you rarely think about caldera lakes, wildlife, Indigenous culture, sulphrous steam vents, and rivers made for kayaking. This is a look at my 9 days in Far East Hokkaido.
Thanks for watching!

I Travelled to Iceland Airwaves last year for my first trip post Aus-lockdown to shoot the after movie for Iceland Airwaves.
A perfect mix of my favourite things - music, travel and culture weaved together to create an unforgettable week.
Great video, thanks for sharing!
That must have been hours of footage condensed into one minute! 😮
Any tips for video creators filming live music? What equipment were you using?
And (off-topic), are you heading down to Dark Mofo this year (darkmofo.net.au) ?
Thanks Ian! Had to travel light for this one so it was all shot on a blackmagic 6k pro and a 18-35mm lens! The festival sent me around to shoot a lot of the sights and geysers as well which was a blast.. Really hard to condense 3 days + into 1 minute, and surprisingly I still kicked myself that i missed specific shots I'd planned haha..
I am heading down to dark mofo, I've been down twice and have loved it both times. I got lots of dark mofo vibes over at iceland airwaves. It wasn't just the cold either, the atmosphere was amazing and everyone was in such good spirits - music pouring from every second venue from midday onwards. Might get the balls (excuse the pun) to do the winter solstice swim but let's see!
Looks like a great event to add to the bucketlist. Great job w the video!
Well done with your video! Looks like you had a fabulous week
Love it ❤️
