On Estonia's Hiiumaa island stands Kõpu Lighthouse. At 490 years old, it has stood for nearly half a millennium and has been in continuous use the entire time.
When it was built in 1531 it was initially a simple platform for bonfires that could be seen far out to the sea. As technology progressed over the centuries, it was gradually improved and upgraded into a the modern lighthouse you see today.

That's a pretty amazing feat to keep a lighthouse running for hundreds of years!
