If you’d like to take over this chapter and arrange in-person meetups to connect travel professionals and content creators (e.g. casual drinks, sightseeing, etc), see our event guide and let us know why you’d make a great leader for this group.
As the birthplace of America, Philadelphia is a city that draws tourists from around the globe to celebrate the founding of a nation. Philadelphia travel massive is a group that brings together travel professionals and brands to talk about topics and trends within the industry.

Will this chapter ever be active in the future?
Hey Brianna, thanks for checking in. We were working on getting the Philly chapter up and running in 2020. If you're in Philly you're welcome to organize a meetup and we can share it with the group. Here's a guide that gives you all the details: www.travelmassive.com/pages/event-guide
I'd love to see this chapter more active. My bandwidth this year will not accommodate more involvement on my part, but perhaps in 2023. Hopefully, others will be interested, too!
Touching base on this topic again. Just as a note I am available to help and try to get this chapter back up and running.
Sounds good. I don't know how much I can help but I certainly could try to be of assistance in some way.
Hi Brianna. I'm not sure if you are still in Philadelphia but I am going to try to get this chapter up and running and would love help and support. My email is roberta@mooretravelpartners.com if you want to be in touch.
Hi Roberta. Im no longer in Philadelphia. I recollected back to CA. Good luck with potentially getting the chapter going again.
Hey guys, I just wanted to share that I learned about some of Philly's HUGE plans between 2024 and 2026 at yesterday's Philly Tourism Symposium. Many events and celebrations will take place in advance of America's 250th Birthday and the World Cup. Philly will be an even bigger travel destination and bring tons of tourists. I was excited to hear about it. Every state in the country will participate in a greater federal program, but nobody does America history better than Philadelphia! If you're interested in learning more, check out the Philadelphia 250 website: www.philadelphia250.us.
Hi Marilyn. Thanks for posting. There has been some movement to get the Philly group up and running again. Here is my email if you'd like me to add you to the thread - roberta@mooretravelpartners.com The more the merrier!
That's great to hear, Roberta. The past two years of my life have been tumultuous with various health and family setbacks. I hope to get back on track in 2025 with some travel writing/content, primarily focusing on the Mid-Atlantic region to start and then beyond in 2026.
I'd be willing to organize an event to get us back on track. Anyone willing to lend a hand?
Let me know if you're still interested in organizing an event! Happy to help
Anyone up for reviving this group? Happy to do the planning for a meetup to kick things off again.
Hi Kim. I posted that message so long ago but this is actually a better time for me to put in some energy. Could we connect and discuss? I’m in the Germantown/Mt Airy area. My email is roberta@mooretravelpartners.com
Hey all, I've just moved to Philly. Checking to see if this is active :)
I’ll connect with you Kim and Roberta (who commented above). Would be great to get the Philly group up and running again!
Hello everyone, let’s plan a meet up. Weather is headed in the perfect direction for an outdoor meet up. Happy to host and provide the space/location. I’m based outside the city in King of Prussia.
