Hey Everyone,
My name is Letitia and I am the owner of Yonder HQ (based in Australia) which is a company focused on building smart technology for tourism operators that help save you time and drive sales.
👉 We've launched Smart Summaries — an intuitive tool that generates snappy summaries of key themes and sentiments found in customer reviews. This means that tourism operators no longer have to spend hours sifting through hundreds of reviews to identify important insights and trends. Instead, Smart Summaries does the hard work for them, generating concise summaries that highlight positive comments, negative comments, and areas for improvement.
Managing customer feedback can be a time-consuming task for tourism operators, particularly those who receive large volumes of reviews each month. Smart Summaries is designed to save our customers hours of reporting time, while still providing them with the valuable insights they need to improve their businesses.
One satisfied customer, Angela Cuff from Whale Watch, Kaikoura, says that the Smart Summaries feature has transformed the way they analyze customer feedback. "The summaries provide us with a very clear snapshot of customer sentiments using key topics and allow us to provide helpful feedback to the relevant departments and staff". Within Yonder Angela has been able to set up and track topics and learn what people think about ‘price’, ‘captains’ and even what people say about the whales and dolphins they see.
Powered by GPT, one of the most advanced language models available, Smart Summaries is a cutting-edge tool that harnesses the power of AI to help tourism operators stay on top of customer sentiment and improve their businesses.
Yonder is committed to making innovative technology like ChatGPT available to tourism operators worldwide.

I am really interested to hear how many of you use your online reviews for customer and business insights as well as SEO. I've seen lots of tourism businesses that want to do this but just haven't had the staffing to allow them to do this type of in-depth review tracking.
We are keen to support any operator out there who wants to achieve insights into their business.
Hi Letitia, fantastic to see another Aussie company here, thanks for sharing on Travel Massive.
How will Smart Summaries be priced, and will it be a stand-alone product or part of your existing plans? And of course, any discounts for Travel Massive members who might be reading this? 😉
In your product development, have you come across any challenges working with GPT that are specific to travel, that you can share? For example, does it understand Aussie lingo?
Hey Ian,
Excited to share Yonders Smart Summaries with the Travel Massive Community.
Smart Summaries is a feature included in any of our review packages which is a monthly subscription starting from $90USD/month (depending on how many review requests operators send per month depends on the pricing).
Here is a tip for Travel Massive members, we do have a free plan which will allow you to access smart summaries for free (it's just not advertised on the website). You just need to sign up for a free trial and once the trial has expired you will automatically be given access to the free version which includes review management and smart summaries of your Google reviews. Enjoy, I can't promise it will stay free forever but it is for now!
lol, great question about working with GPT. Our biggest learnings are that it loves to lie and make stuff up (it doesn't do it on purpose mind you). It is very good at understanding Australian, NZ and US lingo based on the live data that we have run through it. We are weeks away from releasing our new tourism chatbot operating system powered by GPT and basically we have set up a way to manage content so that GPT does not go off on tangents or make stuff up. As we already manage 100's of tourism chatbots we've been able to continuously test with actual data and the results are so awesome. GPT can deal with complex and multiple questions so well. The challenge in tourism is that customers need a sales assistant not just a FAQ chatbot to move them along the sales journey so getting that right is essential.
