Hi everyone! I work with TrainingAid, an international tourism training company specialized in sustainable tourism. The intersection of professional skills and sustainability is what we focus on and are passionate about, and as such we work with many industry professionals and organizations who are at various stages of their sustainability journeys.
One of the most common questions we get is: what does sustainability management actually look like?
Once you spend even a little bit of time exploring the topic around sustainability, it quickly becomes clear that sustainability for tourism businesses is not (just) about straws, towels or light bulbs; rather, it's an ongoing process of understanding, learning, applying lessons, and working to improve how we do things overtime.
With that in mind, a key question for tourism businesses is - what does that process actually look like? In a concrete way, what do we actually need to do to manage such a process?
And THAT is exactly what we are addressing in our new course, Sustainability Management for Tourism Businesses (bit.ly/TA-SustMgmt).
Having a systematic approach is important for the success and effectiveness of your sustainability efforts. It's also key to making sure "sustainability" isn't an optional feel-good activity but a priority in line with your business objectives.
We are excited to share practical techniques and useful tools to help more tourism businesses make sustainability truly matter. Would your business or any of your colleagues benefit from this course? If so, please learn more and join here: bit.ly/TA-SustMgmt
We also have scholarships and reduced fee options available for those industry colleagues who share our passion and would benefit from the course but need support.
