I fell in love with Costa Rica during a family trip in 2005 and vowed to return regularly. With 30 years of meeting and event management business expertise, I established Travel with Ann Costa Rica later that year to design and lead custom small group experiential adventures in Costa Rica and neighboring countries. These included Spanish/Cultural Immersion, family, and friends trips, but the signature experience was my annual Wonderful Women Adventure. Each trip was unique. With a deep network of Costa Rican colleagues and friends and a pulse on emerging opportunities in less explored locations, I innovated constantly while always focusing on human encounters and community engagement as the heart of experiential travel. Capitalizing on Wonderful Women Adventures, Latin American sustainable tourism leader, Jorge Moller Rivas, and I designed and co-led a powerful women’s cross-cultural exchange program in Chile in 2019.
After 15 years of creating off the beaten path small group travel adventures, building my own responsible tourism business and honing what it takes to create powerful relationships on the ground, I am now sharing my passion and expertise with others who are inspired to create meaningful travel experiences anchored by authentic human encounters.
