About me

Risk taker, Adrenaline Seeker Devon Llywellyn is a full-time entrepreneur and passionate intense traveller who made it his life journey to continuously explore and broaden his horizons. As a traveller, I felt it was finally time to start documenting my travels as they happen and share my experiences with everyone who maybe isn't as lucky as me or with people who are interested in going where I have been.

My job is little beds and cramped bathrooms.
It’s old television sets and slow Internet connections.
My job is extraordinary conversations with ordinary people.
It’s waiters, petrol station attendants, and housekeepers becoming the most interesting people in the world.
It’s churches that are compelling enough to enter.
It’s McDonald’s being a luxury.
It’s the realization that you may have been born in the wrong country.
My job is a smile that leads to a conversation in broken French.
It’s the epiphany that pretty girls smile the same way all over the world.
My job is tipping 10% and being embraced for it.
My job is the same white T-shirt again tomorrow.
My job is accented sex after good wine and too many unfiltered cigarettes.
My job is flowing in the back of a bus with giggly strangers. It’s a street full of bearded backpackers looking down at maps.
My job is wishing for one more bite of whatever that just was.
It’s the rediscovery of walking somewhere. It’s sharing a bottle of liquor on an overnight train with a new friend.
My job is “Maybe I don’t have to do it that way when I get back home.

If you’re brave enough to leave behind everything familiar and comforting, which can be anything from your house to bitter, old resentments, and set out on a truth-seeking journey, either externally or internally, and if you are truly willing to regard everything that happens to you on that journey as a clue and if you accept everyone you meet along the way as a teacher and if you are prepared, most of all, to face and forgive some very difficult realities about yourself, then the truth will not be withheld from you.
