Before launching my alternative tour initiative, in Bucharest, I used to manage a video-game distribution company. Afterwards I became a corporate drone, which I liked, working as a business unit manager for an IT company and later as a senior operations manager for an UK investment fund (whatever that means).
My free time, however, was divided between being a party animal, an intrepid tourist and a avid sampler of the local urban arts and culture scene.
Having been, for most of my life, in a complicated relationship with my home-city, I've decided it was high time someone got serious about showing 'them foreigners' the real meat and bones of Bucharest.
Because I believe that authentic local communities are the best resources for tourism in the near future. It's all about the people not the buildings
