Founder and CEO at Vivejar, a Brazilian tour operator focused on transformational and responsible trips. In 2018 Vivejar became awarded with the main Brazilian sustainable travel and tourism prizes. Marianne also founded Raízes Desenvolvimento Sustentável, consultancy firm nacionaly known and awarded for local development projects.

Her career is highlighted by leadership and protagonism in the causes she believes. She is currently part of 'Sistema B Brasil' counsel and is the founder and president at Coletivo Muda - Brazilian Collective for Responsible Tourism, actively working in the articulation and advocacy for tourism that generates income and inclusion, preserves nature and transforms lives. Currently is founding Vivejar Institute, a not-for-profit organisation that will adresses the needs of community tourism development around Brazil.
