Hi! My name is Roza and I am the Content & Communications Manager at ONEArmenia, or 1A for short, a nonprofit organization advancing sustainable travel in Armenia’s tourism sector. Every year more travelers discover Armenia, but rural communities are not benefitting from the industry. Our mission is to make the country the #1 destination in the South Caucasus by incubating new travel experiences that are responsible and immerse travelers in Armenia’s culture, history, and ways of life. It’s all to achieve our greater vision: a thriving Armenia where local people can make sustainable, livable incomes.

While we shifted our focus to travel in 2021, we’ve been successfully implementing all kinds of social impact projects across Armenia since 2012, including the free HIKEArmenia app (now an independent nonprofit) and the Momik Wines tasting room in Areni village. Now, we’re applying our values and community to change the travel sector and bring positive change to rural Armenia.
