Scott Kendall is the Editor for PlayStayEat.com and a freelance travel writer, photographer, and videographer based in The Woodlands, Texas (near Houston). He is a former Navy Officer and consultant who taught special education and coached high school tennis in the Houston area for over twenty years. He is now traveling, writing, and taking tons of photos and videos throughout the United States, Europe, and beyond.

Scott’s recent travels have taken him on self-guided media trips to Germany, Italy, Slovenia, Croatia, Door County in Wisconsin, Denver, Breckenridge, Philadelphia, Washington DC, and the wonderful Hill Country of his native Texas. Scott just celebrated his 33rd year of marriage to his lovely wife, Julie, and is the proud father of two sons, William, a Captain in the US Air Force, and Jacob, a Human Resources specialist.
