I'm equal parts writer, marketer and gypsy. While currently based in LA, I've been known to work from cafes around the world, typically for a few months each year. My marketing focus is copy and content, including destination guides, articles, blog posts, sales pages, email campaigns, website copy, brochures, etc., but I also advise on branding and digital marketing strategy.
My travel blog and I have a rocky relationship but I'm hoping we can mend our riff as there is still a lot of love there.
When traveling, I prefer to housesit or rent apartments to be part of the community. Plus, I like to cook so having a kitchen grounds me. I'm also a strong advocate for traveling responsibly and supporting locals, putting money into their pockets vs. larger corporations. I'm a former Kiva fellow where I volunteered with an NGO in India that provided microloans exclusively to women in impoverished areas. I believe that empowering women benefits everyone.
Buenos Aires has a special hold on me that keeps pulling me back
I've never been to Africa and SO many countries scream out to me (Tanzania, Uganda, Ghana, Ethiopia, Morocco...)
