I'm an avid globetrotter who loves slow travel. During my adventures in more than 65 countries, I've learned that travel’s greatest gift comes through interactions with people. Some of my most memorable experiences have been sharing a bottle of champagne with distant French cousins in Alsace, learning how to milk goats in a sleepy Bulgarian village, and ringing in the Vietnamese New Year with a Hanoi family. I love delving into a place’s history and its artisanal scene. I also welcome opportunities to practice French and German, as well as new languages.
My husband, Shawn, and I were married in the ruins of a snowy German castle. We’ve since been known to escape winter by basing ourselves in the Mediterranean during the off-season, or in Southeast Asia. I've lived in Malta, Croatia, and Germany. I now call France home.

I'm passionate about slow travel, citizen diplomacy, intercultural exchange, and sharing tales about the people & places I come to know during the journey.
Declaring a favorite destination is impossible, but I've created some fantastic memories in the Balkans, Southeast Asia, and the Caucasus. I also have a soft spot for the Mediterranean.
