Trolltunga is a rock formation protruding into the fjords of Norway. It is located about 1,100 metres above sea level in Ullensvang Municipality in Vestland county.
It gives you some of the most amazing views across the fjords. The hike is quite challenging but it is worth every moment. There are 3 starting points depending on how long of a hike you want.
There are guided hikes and over night stays also available. It is possible to hike yourself during the summer months but you must have a guide in winter due to weather conditions.

This was a challenging 27k hike but it was so worth it! We did a self-guided day hike from car park 2 which is the mid-level option.
This looks like an incredible hike, what a view from the top!
The official website you linked to in the post has a great video about the trail difficulty and requirements. It made me think of @marjorieturnerhollman’s post this week about the need for accessible information for people with mobility disabilities.
