After starting my career as a marketer for leading brands, I followed my love for travel and became a travel agent. Over a decade in this role, my dedication and expertise earned me various promotions including managing an agency and team of 5. 5 years in, I embraced the flexibility of being a home-based agent working purely with repeat and referral clientele - a job I thought I'd do forever! But life had other plans for me when the pandemic disrupted the industry, and I lost my job and successful business, virtually overnight.

During this challenging time, I learnt a lot. Two things I didn't think I had in me emerged - resilience and entrepreneurial spirit. Combining my marketing expertise and my knowledge of what travel agents needed to better market their skills, I channeled this passion into creating Travel Agent Finder, a platform designed to empower travel agents by boosting their digital presence and helping travellers connect with the perfect expert for their needs. The platform now features hundreds of agent blogs and experiences to inspire travellers and encourage connect with specialists, 1,000 trade members and over 2,000 traveller-submitted reviews. It’s also home to Travel Trade Connect, a vital hub for agents to connect with supplier partners and their resources, training and events.
