In my years in the field of public relations, I have grown to appreciate the art of media relations and destination representation. I have been fortunate enough to work on PR and marketing campaigns as well as crisis management for clients as diverse as the Mexico Tourism Board and the OCVs of Quito, Morocco, Zambia, Cancun, Puerto Vallarta.
I have invited and coordinated the participation of over 150 international media each in Mexico's Tourism Tianguis in Piuerto Vallarta (2012) SATW's Conference (2014) and the North American Travel Journalists Association Conference in Puerto Vallarta in 2015 (#NATJAPV2015).
At ENroute Communications, I have worked on campaigns for San Miguel de Allende, Patagonia Camp, Costa Rica's Pro Imagen and Small Distinctive Hotels with the first two clients winning Conde Nast Travelers and Travel + Leisure's top honors in 2017 and 2018.
At LATITUDE I developed and executed representation campaigns for the tourism ministries of Guatemala and Ecuador which have included consumer, trade and media events as well as multiple trending social marketing campaigns. I also headed a marketing campaign to promote Asia Now, a campaign for nine countries in Asia.
My main account has been the Puerto Vallarta Tourism Board. This award-winning campaign has allowed me to develop and implement public relations campaigns that target consumer and trade media outlets in both editorial and advertising. The destination has been featured in outlets such as the New York Times, Conde Nast Traveler and the NY Daily News with covers on Modeliste Magazine, Niche Magazine and the Toronto Star. Programs such as the Braxton Family Values, Weekend Explorer and Arranged where also recorded in Puerto Vallarta under my production.
Puerto Vallarta's award-winning LGBT campaign was also developed under my leadership re-positioning the destination as Mexico's top LGBT travel destination with covers on Out and Passport Magazines.
