I am the Founder of GetAboutAble Pty Ltd (trading as getaboutable.com), an Australian social enterprise that empowers people with disability to participate in mainstream tourism activities. I am also a single mother with a disability, have a PhD in molecular genetics, and am a lifelong avid traveller with over 20 years of experience of travelling with a disability. I also have extensive networks in the disability sector and have a passion to contribute to the community. I started GetAboutAble to address a significant problem for people with a disability.

Antarctica - setting foot/wheels on the continent, not just cruising past
I have been traveling internationally for work since I was 19 (for a scientific research internship). I travelled extensively for work until I retired due to my disability. My first “job” in the travel industry was when I founded GetAboutAble at age 45.

Thanks Paul! Definitely need a field for accessible restrooms... unisex or male/female, and locations, especially of restrooms with adult change table/hoist (Changing Places). These facilities are game changers for people who need them!
