Hi Al, thanks for sharing this news and it's fantastic to learn about an accessible travel company in New Zealand AND a travel tech business! Promoting accessible travel is one of our values here at Travel Massive, so we're glad to have you here.
Could you share some insights into developing software for the accessible tourism market? Did you build any new features specifically to address accessible travel for your client? And lastly, any tips for developers looking to build solutions in this space?
Hi Ian, thanks for engaging with us.
Without giving away all our tech features to our friends in other tech companies :-) ...
Think about the end user or customer - not just your client eg we've made text bigger on our mobile app for the older generation in Accessible Travel.
Odyssey is configurable so we have huge flexibility for having our clients adapt the platform to their needs eg we can use existing 'fields' to store relevant data eg levels of disability.
Use Ai - we have Ai embed and it's got some exciting opportunities for the Accessible Travel sector.
And last but not least, tech companies should go on a journey with their clients - we are just starting this now with Ability Adventures... you discover so much more once you start working together so you have to be get in the mud together to achieve your combined goal of making this business successful... and that's what we do super well... off the shelf tech will be challenging for Accessible Travel.
Hope that helps
Al
