Hi Travel Massive community,

For the past seven years, I’ve been building a travel chatbot that finds cheap flights and tracks airfare prices. Over time, it has grown to 2 million+ subscribers. Since price tracking has always been at its core, I’ve learned a lot about airline pricing trends and patterns.

Now, with that knowledge + the power of AI, we’ve built something new: a service that predicts how flight prices will change — helping you buy at the right time and save money. Our algorithm analyzes historical flight data alongside factors like seasonality, airline pricing strategies, route popularity, day of the week, and more.

🎯 How accurate is it?

Pretty damn accurate! Of course, no one can guarantee a 100% hit rate — there are always unpredictable variables. But based on our testing, it rarely misses. We’re also continuously monitoring and refining the algorithm to make it even more precise.

✨ Try it out and let us know what you think: airtrackbot.com/flight-price-predictor

Your 📩 feedback is incredibly valuable to us.

Hi Niki, thanks for sharing your latest flight search tool with the Travel Massive community!

A few quick bits of feedback:

I tried a search for a city pair in June and got a 🟢 Wait: "The price is highly likely to drop!". It would be nice to know when the price is likely to drop, or when to check back. Eg. will it drop tomorrow, next week, or next month?

Perhaps a small sparkline chart or bar chart could be included to help visualise the fare difference over time and how much the price might fluctuate.

It would also be nice to utilise more sources than just Skyscanner, since they don't know all the available fares.

Hope that helps and keep up the great work — the UX is nice and clean and looks great.

Hi Ian,

Thanks for the feedback! Yes, we’re planning to add more data to give users a clearer understanding of pricing trends and when a price change is expected (e.g., "expected to drop within the next 10 days").

We're also working on introducing notifications to alert users about price changes or trend shifts, so they don’t have to keep checking manually.

Appreciate your insights!

I worked on price calendar stuff back in 2015 and I know Kayak were doing this a long time ago, pre pandemic. Are you leveraging Skyscanner's already existing tech or are you just using them for the pricing? If you can predict actual price with a +/- 5% tolerance then there's something there. A red/amber/green gauge means little to me.

Hi Jason,

That’s a great point, and we’re definitely thinking about it. The challenge is ensuring the accuracy of the prediction, especially when forecasting a specific percentage drop or range. It’s a lot trickier than just indicating a trend. It’s something we’ll need to work on more thoroughly.

Appreciate, definitely an interesting idea!
