In my world as a travel writer , I've had the privilege of unraveling captivating stories, from celebrity interviews to immersive travel experiences like covering story from the world’s most active volcano. My passion for Japan shines through as a destination expert, where I've delved into its rich culture, becoming a connoisseur of its hidden treats from Michelin star jaunts to cozy Izakayas.
Before Tokyo I worked as SEO content writer while in the Middle East.
I was on honed my communication skills and gained a deep understanding of the Japanese content industry while being on the team of copywriters for the South east Asia launch campaign for “ Choya’s craft fruit liqueur ” an Umeshu beverage which won the “Best in Liqueur Show” at 2021 World Spirits Competition.
Also with the JNTO (Japan National Tourism Organization) for their “Cool Japan” campaign which evolved into a tourism powerhouse and “Hope Tourism” campaign for Fukushima tourism board.
Additionally, my experience as a Hotel Marketeer with Four Seasons Hotels has allowed me to blend creativity with strategic marketing to showcase unique hospitality offerings.
For now on a journey to uncover new experiences and connect with the heart of this vibrant city, and calling Toronto home !
I have relocated a few months back from Tokyo to Toronto and my Instagram friends suggested me to join this network of creatives especially so I get a sense of the domestic travel and culinary offerings and to connect with a community of like minded people. This would also give me an edge and nudge me towards the right direction on what stories need to be pitched to the editors.
